Built in Finland, Keldysh entered service in 1981. At 122.2 meters (401 feet) in length and with a crew of 53, she is the largest research vessel in the world. Keldysh can accommodate 47 scientists with 17 science laboratories at their disposal. The ship was featured in James Cameron’s TITANIC. These pictures were taken in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
